How to Get Custom Themes for Ipod Touch

How to Get Custom Themes for iPod touch Hey YouTube iPod touch2gGeec here and I think I know a lot of you people wondering where I got these theme for my iPod Touch so today I’m going to show you how you can get it. Now this is a custom theme that I’ve made. I took some stuff from one other theme and I made a lot of the stuff in this theme. So to get this theme, what I want you to do is go to the website that I provided in the right in the video descriptions to your right. It should be media Firelink and I want you to download the zip file and you should get this my Vista iPod touch2gGeec. Now inside of it or actually before you do that only get right click it and go extract all and extract. Okay, it is a pretty big file 10.4MB so it will take a little bit of time so I’m going to pause the video here and it I’ll come back once its done. So once its done extracting you should get three files. You should get my Vista folder, the vista dock folder and the photo which is just a little screenshot that I add in for you guys. It is the same thing that’s online all right and so once you extract it you’re going to get those things and you can go ahead delete that picture if you want. I just put it in there for you guys if you want to make sure that was the right theme. So you are going to open up my Vista and you should see a bundles folder, folders folder, icons folder, UI images folder, UI sounds folder, and then a dock picture logged background picture in the wallpaper picture. Now you’re going to need all of this okay so don’t go ahead and start deleting all of them. In the bundles this is just separate stuff for individual you know applications. This is one just for the springboard, this is for the carrier. It’s for the carrier up here. See icons its just icons there should be about too close to 200 if not more icons in here so there are a lot of icons. A UI image is just pretty much the vista loading thing since of having that spinning like pinwheel type thing. You’ll have the Vista loaders. These are also just some buttons, some safe you know the normal gray silver looking buttons, all your buttons will look like this. This is the background for pop-up so if you like go getting in alert saying like your timers is done or you know like a web page can’t be found. Any alerts of pop-up. The background will be this. All right so it’s a very nice background. These are like the clear out what you type and like a URL or something. That would be the new X. UI sound are just sounds of like when you lock it and unlock it you got a new email all that’s stuff, all these sounds are Vista sounds. So now and not only look like this but will also sounds like vista. Now this is the lock background and this is the wallpaper. Now the lock screen, you scan your finger. Now it’s not really look like a finger scanner. You can still swipe it or you can just hold your finger on—there’s usually a little mouse or a cursor right here. So what you do is you just put your finger on that and it will sense your fingers there it’ll put up the finger print and then you can either entering your pass code or go straight to your springboard. You all ready saw the wallpaper now the dock the dock doesn’t work to well of this which is why I’ve also included this folder called Vista dock. Now vista dock gives you another dock because of what I want you to do is you won’t have this blank doc icon not at least you shouldn’t so don’t worry about that. So you just go to have that and what I want you to do with all this enclose that so let’s see. Okay so what you are going to do with all this is you’re going to do have to SSH into your iPhone or iPod touch. To do that open up if you’re on a PC run beyond see viewer or its WINSCP so if you’re on a PC you’re going to open up WIN SCP, if you’re on the Mac I believed it’s called Cyberduck. Okay so you are going to open that up and once you open it up you should be connected to your iPhone or iPod touch. Now to get that theme in, you’re going to go up here and you’re going to click it ones. Once you clicked it ones you are going to scroll down until you see stash. You’re going to open up stash and now you should get this folder with a themes folder in it Themes.ENYMDH all right that is where you are going to put my Vista theme. Now it is a winterboard theme so you will need winterboard to put it on. If you don’t have one winterboard I have a video on how to get it from Sydia. If you don’t want to watch the video all you do is to go to Sydia. Search winterboard, download it and then you can add this theme. So how you’re going to add is you’re going to take this to my vista folder. Now remember this is the folder that we got after we extracted the zip folders so don’t—you can go ahead and delete the zip folder after you extracted if you want. All right so you are going to take my Vista folder and this is again the one with the doc lock background wallpaper. The five other folders you’re going to take that. You’re going to go into WINSCP or whatever you’re SSH client is and you’re just going to drag it into themes. Okay and then this will come up and then you’re going to select copy. Now this won’t come up because you won’t already have a theme, I all ready have the theme so it ask me if I want a copy everything. So I’m going to go ahead and click cancel just because I had everything. You’re going to click copy and then it should go along in about two or three minutes and then it would be done. After you do that, you’re going to take your vista doc and again you should not have this blink doc icon in there if you do go ahead and delete that okay now again, if you have this go ahead and delete that okay it will mess up your theme if you have that in. So once you have that again you should just have the doc go ahead and take this folder were going to do the same thing. Go to your SSH client and highlight the themes doc ENYMDH you’re going to highlight it, so all you’re going to do is drag the Vista doc folder in. you’re going to select copy and again I all ready have it so I’m going to click cancel. Now you’re going to click copy and it should do it. Now once you do that you can go ahead and close you’re SSH client and you’re going to go to your iPhone or iPod Touch then you’re going to open up winterboard. Okay and when you open up winterboard you should now have my Vista theme and a Vista doc theme. So what I want you to do is select Vista doc and selects my Vista. Okay after you do that, I want you to go ahead and select block navigation bars, that will make your navigation bars completely blocked. Now if that’s not necessarily you know what it is in Windows Vista but I think it makes it look a whole lot better and adds a lot to the theme. So you can go ahead and select that vista if you want block that navigation bar is and then I want you to select no doc icon labels okay and also I want you to select no undoc icon labels after you do that you can go ahead and press the home button. It will respire for you. Now if you did everything correctly you should not have any labels or you should not have any labels under these icons and you should not have any labels over here.
