Hey guys, what’s up? David here. So the deal on this video is the iPhone or–and iPod Touch 3.0 Firmware have been released, they’ve been linked on the internet the final release. If you guys don’t know, on June 8, 2009 Apple had there WWWDC ‘09 event and there, they release not only the iPhone 3GS which is a new iPhone. I got a video on that. But they also released with that the iPhone and iPod Touch 3.0 Firmware.
Now right here, I got the links to all the Firmware versions guys. And basically, all you got to do is–this is one link alright. It’s called imodzone.net/download. The link will be right in the video description to your right. And basically, what you got to do is just select which device you have, iPhone 2G is the first iPhone and then the rest are self explanatory. So you select which one you want.
And then the Golden Master is the final version. Alright guys, Apple released them to developers. Developers have linked them on the internet. That’s how they got this. Alright guys, as so you can also see they’ve all the Beta versions.
Now as of yet–or as of now, it’s not jailbreakable that’s why I haven’t updated my iPod. So if you guys want to wait for the jailbreak, I will have the jailbreak video when the jailbreak comes out. And also guys, if you want this to work, the 3.0 Firmware to work, you got to need iTunes’ 8.2. Alright, so if you don’t have that which you probably don’t, you can go ahead and download it straight from here. You got 32 bit for Windows, 64 bit as well as Mac was 10. And if for some reason, the site does not work, I will also have the sites–individual sites for all of these downloads.
Alright guys, right here is the first iPod Touch for 3.0. I got iPod Touch 2G. Right here is the–this is the iPhone. And right here is the 3.0 Firmware for the iPhone 3G. And I will–that’s–I’ll have those up in the video description to the right for you guys.
And then basically, once you do that, all you got to do is go ahead and open up iTunes. So now once iTunes opens and it recognizes that your device is plugged in, all you got to do is if you are on a PC, it shift–Shift key and Restore, if you are on a Mac, it is Command and Restore. Al right guys, once you do that, browse your window, it will pop up. It will ask you to browse for the 3.0 Firmware and then you go ahead and select it. Select Open, and then it will restore your iPod or iPhone to that version.
Again, make sure you got iTunes Version 8.2. It is still in the Betas, that’s the only way for it to do it. Alright guys, that’s pretty much all I got to tell you for now. Thanks for watching, remember to rate five stars, comment on this video. And also if you’re not already, go ahead and press that little yellow subscribe button up in the upper right-hand corner. Peace guys.
