You could be doing something on a daily basis that you think is no big deal but can be the one reason why you are rejected by the colleges.
Lots of colleges throughout the country and they will never going to tell you that there doing this are now going into the social websites to try to find more information on their applicants. Now, that is not to suggest that they are going to get you but the possibility does exist that your account will come up on their computer so that they can see exactly what you have got on you Facebook account. Now, here is what you need to do to be sure that your application does not get rejected. You need to first of all past what I have call the parent test. That is, do you have anything on you website or I should say your Facebook that you would not want you mother to see. Well, if that the case you got to fix it! Now, I am going to show you an example of how the colleges will choose a student based upon the information they see on the social websites. A college is going to reject you for the same reason why rejected student A, instead take full advantage of your Facebook account and what it has offered you by doing what Student B did by having a discussion, what your career interests, or teasing the reader into suggesting that you are going to have a great essay when it comes to writing college essay. It has a warm and photos of you and your dog or if you do not have a dog, go find one. Or your arm around your little kid sister who drives you crazy and by the way makes and have photos of you and your friends.
So if you any digital dirt get rid of it and take full advantage as to what is offered to you on your Facebook and MySpace accounts. I am Paul Hemphill. Now, watch what you have to do right after you watch this video.
Do not add friends you do not know.
Delete you phone number and address.
Delete questionable photos and conversations you have had with friends.
Someone jealous could rat on you about a questionable photo of you on someone else’s Facebook, MySpace, Friendster, Xanga, or LiveJournal.
