Milkmaid Braids with waves
You will need:
4 small elastic bands
Heat Protector
Hairspray
Flat Iron
Bobby Pins
First, spray your hair with your heat protector, then section off your hair. You should have at least 3 layers (if you have thin hair, if it’s thicker, make more)
Grab about and inch of hair, and bring you flat iron about half away and clamp it, then twist it 360 degrees.
After you have turn it 369, start sliding the flat iron downwards, while still slowly turning the flat iron, so all of it curls.
Do that to the next layers, but keep the last set of layers untouched! If you find some are too curly… pull the end of it so it looks straight and run your fingers on.
Now that you're at the top layers, you don’t want them as curly. You're going to take the same amount of width and get a little bit more than half way, and you're going to flip the flat iron up and then twist it to outwards.
Flipped up
Flipped outward (away from your face)
Now do that all the way around your head. Don’t worry about your bangs, or anything looking perfect. Next, we start the braids. Get your elastics and bobby pins ready!
Grab a section of hair from the beginning of your bangs up until the middle on your scalp. Tie them up towards the front. **Leave out the hair that covers your ears!!**
Start braiding just ONE pony tail, one you're don’t braiding it, bring it to the opposite side, and grab an elastic and tie it to a thin strand of hair. Extra hair that is sticking out you can just bobby pin down.
Now start on the other side, make sure this braid goes BEHIND your first braid.
There you go, you’ve achieved the Milkmaid Braids. Simple and Quick.
