As a lacrosse player in high school, junior or senior, how do you get noticed by a college coach? Very simple, you can do the basic things like send the coach an email, a letter, or send in game film. But the best way I believe to be noticed is to go to that school that you are interested in and participate in that school's lacrosse camp. That way you can see what campus is like, get to meet the coaches, and meet some people around campus that can tell you what it's like to live there.
Another way is to go out and make sure that you have the email or phone number of the coach. Email the program, call the coach, make sure that they know your name, what school are you from. So they can come and see you play. Last thing I want to tell you about being noticed by college coaches is, stay away from all-star teams and club teams. A lot of times, yes they are good for competition.
However, if you want to be noticed, separate yourself from the all-stars. Put yourself in a situation where you can be the only star on the field. Again, go to that camp of the school. Play hard during your season in the spring. Send in game film where it just focuses on you the athlete and not your team. That may sound selfish but again; you want the coach to find you.
