Jay Manuel: Queen Latifah's hair always looks touchable and classic. Here are some easy steps to get the hair that's fit for a queen.
Male Speaker: For color, when you're coloring I know you don't want to color too often because it can be quite damaging. So if you need a quick touch up, say, if you're going out for an event and you wanted to look freshly colored, I'd just do the part. The part that you can actually see, so right in here, and in your edges and then leave the rest. Leave the roots and the rest, just to give it a rest because you don't want to color too often.
Another way, if you want to try some highlights, this is the great way to try some highlights. What you do is you always want to put your base color which is your natural color on top and then you just so, a lighter piece to the bottom. Right, so you clip it in, you get instant highlights. It's a great way to try a new highlights or color.
Jay Manuel: Queen Latifah's make-up is as radiant as her personality. Check out how you can get her beautiful look at home.
Female Speaker: Alright. As you can see, the one thing that Jay really wanted to puts to, even out your skin tone and give you that fresh radiant classical that Queen Latifah has so we started off by using two different concealers on you, we'll do actually is stick foundation and I started in the center of your face, kind of blend it out from there and then highlight you with even lighter, lighter concealer underneath the eyes and we bun in the forehead down. We have kind of framed your face with even more like more of a bronzer so if you look in the mirror, he framed you. Here at the top of your forehead, right here along your cheek bones, we really want to give you a lot of angle to your face because when you are on the stage and the are lights at you, we really want the frame of your face to really show.
From there, I have a little bit more on the cheek bones and now we started off by doing some little bit of cream shadow on your eyelids, but you can actually take your finger and you can start at your lid and it's going to tap it across your lid and blend up and it's just going to give you enough shadowing for day time.
Female Speaker: Yeah, see how that much.
Female Speaker: Something is really soft and --
Female Speaker: I see how you apply it though, they actually go with the shape of the eye.
Female Speaker: Exactly to go right along the shape. You can be a makeup artist before you know it.
