Nessa Wrafter: I’m at the Spa Illuminata in Mayfair with Fiona from Decleor she’s going to tell how to get radiant skin and to run up to your wedding. Thanks for joining us, Fiona.
Fiona Brackenbury: Thank you.
Nessa Wrafter: So before we get started can you just run through what kind of products we’re going to be using today?
Fiona Brackenbury: Well, what we’re trying to achieve today is radiance and so we’re going to use an aromatherapy blend called aroma essence in the early. It’s a beautiful 100 % natural cocktail of orange, blossom, parsley, petty grain. It is just wonderful and it will they will give you that chewiness and that bloom and that radiance.
First, you’re going to use balm essential. This is going to be brilliant especially if you are finding a little bit of congestion time with the mom. This will really help to purify and balance the skin and giving you that even complexion.
We’ll also going to use a wonderful radiance moisturizer which is pot full of mother of pulp pigments which gives you this lovely light to fusing effect and luminosity and clarity to the skin as well. So it’s just a few products that we’ll use. Here’s what’s we’re going to do now. You’re going to get into a dressing gown. I’m going to go and get you hot water about to be ready. So you’re going to make you snuggly and then we going to start with the back type of sleep massage and then on to the facial.
Nessa Wrafter: Tell me about the set of kind time as it were as you start from three or four months before your wedding and you go from there.
Fiona Brackenbury: Now, we’ve been tracking do you start about four months prior to your wedding depending on all the different goals and all your different skin needs you need to have come. But really when we’re talking about radiance and we can start four months and do a monkey program to start off within then we get to the last month before your wedding. That’s where we from what we start to do regular facials. We’ll do weekly and we can do body treatments as well and we can get that really radiance and luminous skin that you’ll crying out for.
Nessa Wrafter: From the four-month point what’ the first thing you need to do.
Fiona Brackenbury: The first thing we need to do is really analyze the skin and really understand what happens monthly, weekly, seasonal changes, stress because we have to take into consideration all of these things that are happening to the bride. It is an extremely stressful time although it’s a very exciting time. We have to take that all into consideration. So it will be really intense diagnoses of the skin and then we would do what we would call as our classic aromatherapy facial aroma paste which we really understanding the skin and really seeing on how the skin responds to the wonderful paste of aroma therapy on oils.
Nessa Wrafter: So can you help the bride prevent that dreaded break out just before the wedding?
Fiona Brackenbury: I mean the wonderful thing about Decleor is because we’re working such wonderful ingredients the part of aromatherapy is just wonderful that we know that we’re not going to flap the skin and you’re not going to be rosy red, you’re going to be flooded with sponge because we really purifying the skin to give this amazingly luminosity but we also got some really useful tips so you can use the week before in case you do think you’re getting a murmur of the sponge.
Nessa Wrafter: Okay seat back so tell me because I believe there’s a massage involved which helps you sort of decide what the skin actually needs for each person. Is that right?
Fiona Brackenbury: As it’s quite unique concept to that care. We start with then what we call the back diagnostic massage so we’d always do a consultation to find out what your needs are but then we will actually let your body tell us what you need and what you’re body is crying out for spa holistic approach but they allows to really understand how your skin can respond for what’s going on with your body, how much water you’re drinking. All of those things that are really important for us to get a really good look for the skin and that’s about 15 minutes but it is unfascinating what we’ll discover about your body and what’s going on.
So really on the lower part of the back I can feel quite a bit of heat in this area. Now this could mean a number of things. It could mean that you’re not drinking enough water in the diet so on the face I really look see if I can see any dehydration lines that will really help you. We really need to be aware of how much water you’re drinking especially within the skin because skin is the largest organ and it’s quite often that moisture and that water that we don’t necessary get for the skin.
And also on the varied lower part could be at the time of the month. I’m not going to be also related to break out, hormonal break out especially in the chin area as well. I think if you’ve lots of aromatherapy massage.
There are three different stages of aromatherapy massage so to acupressure this is all about releasing the toxins and the build ups of tension especially around your eyes, your forehead so we really work on those. It’s a beautiful with aromatherapy blend then we will then to your lymphatic drainage. This is what gives you this amazing radiance. This is what you off to every that get affection you just get this transformation in the skin.
Nessa Wrafter: Thank you very much I don’t ever feel lacking even if you make me since the first time incredible.
Fiona Brackenbury: You’re welcome.
Nessa Wrafter: Thank you very much that was really enjoyable.
