Hi guys, I want to do a video on Safari for Windows. Okay, first of all Internet Explorer, right. Internet Explorer 7, I know that IE 8 it's better, it just came out and supposedly much better. But who wants to bother waiting for Internet Explorer—web kit to open. Okay, let's try, youtube.com, just to see its speed-wise, it's kind of slow, as you can see, I don’t feel like waiting, exit up. I am using Safari for—what the hell, okay. Safari for Windows, oh! I know what that was, that was a cookie for Google.com because it affects Internet Explorer so easily. So Safari, this is what I'm using now.
As you can see I have Aero theme, I’ll do a tutorial how to get you in Safari, when you first download it from Apple.com, here, I will show you where to go, let's see, apple—as already opening video, so this isn't going to be as snappy. Also get YouTube HD, all three loading at the same time, as I already loading faster. So put Apple downloads tab, this is how to get Safari by the way, you go to the download tab and YouTube HD is downloading. So, yeah, My Videos, so Apple downloads, and go over here to all – now, go to Safari Version 3.2, Mac or PC, the world’s best browser. You get the download link, and it will begin loading a page. I get iTunes 1.8 space.
Why I love Safari? It's incredibly fast, like it's unbelievably fast. Pop up blocking, there are some plug-ins and add-ons for – it's pretty cool. Download it now, it will pop up a window, you could say I want to load Safari, well, want to load Safari in Quick Time, this is for Windows, because it already knows around Windows, not on Mac, because you would have already had Safari on a Mac.
So, just hit the download Safari button and I love Safari. Now, honestly, Apple made it quite easy for you to – the user interfaces quite simple for you to download and install it. So, I will let you do that on your own. Once you did it, you’ll get a little Apple Safari thing on your desktop and actually that’s my default internet browser, so I'm going to open up a new window. It opens up faster than Firefox, faster than Internet Explorer, faster than Flock, faster than Opera. It's the fastest internet browser I have used on Windows. Now, I have used Chrome and it's all good for security reasons. But it is—they are comparable in speed, I must say. Chrome or Safari, leave your comments, I'm not sure.
But I like Safari because of how simple it is. I can query search just like that, I can go internet browsing just like that. I can go empty cache just like that. I can bookmark something just really quickly, check my gmail just like that.
So it's definitely a significant improvement over internet explorer. If you're still using Internet Explorer, I highly suggest you upgrade to either Firefox or Safari. But Opera is decent, now let me show you the acid3 problem in Safari. Everyone knows about the add the three text, it will – it has to get to a hundred of a hundred to pass, look at it, 74 out of 100, because a link test failed. Now, if I would open Opera 10, which does take a good long while to load. You will see the acid3 test is much higher, despite the light of speed of Opera 10. So let's see acid3, and it's – and click on that and it will test your browser real quick. That’s it, does it, does it, yup there it go. Hundred out of a hundred, nice move and animation but—depends A plus.
Safari, not so much, but it's significantly faster, just—lose there out of the water, it's so much faster than any other internet browser I've ever used. So obviously, while I'm using screen recorded software at the same time and uploading videos and working my CPU SC, this is really quick. At a 100 processes are running in Vista right now, so obviously you have the best components. But I've got—it's good, it's Safari, it works, and I have to recommend to anyone looking for some good freeware on the internet.
Now, there's a lot of people using Firefox and I admit Firefox is pretty sweet. I have the Firefox preloader, so it loads just a few seconds faster. Usually it loads in Opera perloader, Safari does not need a preloader, because it is that fast. There's – I've got a crowd of atoms for it, so progress burn at Safari, I can change the color of it. I mean it's cool. You know, let's see, let's change to blue. Now, I have a little webpage, like YouTube, hey look! At the top—now, there's just atoms make Firefox more favorable, I guess in the overall market. But I use Safari as my main browser, because of pure speed.
So, thanks for watching. I hope you find this tutorial helpful. Peace out!
