Today we are going to be working on your legs. Put your head on your arm and you want to have your hips perpendicular to the mat. This important if you find yourself opening your hips out, you are going to be using different muscles than the ones you want to use here for this exercise. So make sure those hips are forward and that you are perpendicular to the mat. It should almost feel like you are going to tip forward.
The first exercise we are going to do inhale, lift up, reach that toe, exhale, come all the way down. Inhale life, exhale lower. Remember we are not going too high. Inhale lift and exhale lower. Now check those hips to make sure you are still perpendicular. We are going into this second exercise. This is our trickiest one for choreography. You are going to inhale lift your top leg, exhale, your second leg comes up to meet it and both legs lower at the same time.
There is a little coordination involved. Inhale, point that toe, exhale, the second leg lifts and both legs lower down. You should feel some inner thigh now. Inhale lift the top, exhale come up, both legs lower down. In, those hips are perpendicular. Like a light teepee hand on top, we are going to inhale, take a deep breath and with our exhale, both legs float up. Inhale to lower down now.
Come up, inhale to lower down and one more time, exhale and inhale lower down. You are feeling up for it, this is intermediate. This is a little bit harder. We are going to inhale, take a deep breath, the hand goes on top now. So if you do not have your balance right, if you got too much pressure in your hands, you are just going to fall over. So make sure your hand is on top, those abs are in and get a nice sense of balance. We are going to inhale on the exhale, you are going to lift, not just to your legs but your arms as well.
That is going to get you a little bit more (Inaudible) and a little more abs in the front and plenty on the upper hip. It is inhale to go back down, exhale to come up. We are only going to do five. Inhale to lower down. That is five legs for today. You are definitely going to want to repeat this on the other side and have a good day.
