I am going to get that sleek and smooth look using the Sedu Revolution flat iron. I place a combed section of hair between the ceramic plates of the flat iron, starting as close to the roots as possible.

I gently close the flat iron with a light grip, and pull the iron away from my head letting the hair glide through the plates in one smooth motion. You should not fill the iron gripping or pulling your hair. One smooth pass from roots to ends should be enough for most hair types.
