One thing that I like to use is a mixed bristle flat brush. You can find them at any of your favorite beauty supplies, and to create volume but keep it modern, it's really important to hold the hair up, large sections, about the middle of the hair, put the brush into the hair, pressing the midst bristle into the hair and press down. So the key to creating fuller voluminous hair, is the foundation. Start with the foundation, just like when you are building anything, it's important to start the foundation up from the underneath, and that's going to support the rest of the style.
You want to put a little bit of the teasing in, you can go actually section by section, just use a little bit of hair spray, will lock that in. So now I am just breaking it up a little bit with my finger. So the key to big hair and staying kern up-to-date, is keep it tangible and looking like you've run your fingers through it and that is your hairstyle secret.
