While candles are beautiful and make romantic settings, when excess wax spills over, they can cause more problems than they’re worth. Removing wax is simple.
For this project, you’ll need paper towels, a standard iron, and a butter knife. Step one, plug in the iron to start warming up. Step two, with the dull side of the butter knife, start scrapping up the excess wax. Step three, place the paper towels over the wax. Step four, iron gently. Make sure you don’t burn the carpet by leaving the iron on too long. Just make gentle strokes here.
Now as you continue to iron, you should start seeing the wax absorbing in the paper towel. To see if you completely got off all the wax, lift up the paper towel just to double check. If any wax is left over, just reapply a paper towel and iron and give it a few more strokes.
Wax on the carpet, no problem. We have the easy solutions here at the Home Staging Channel.
