Hello, it's Andrea Guzman again with another Mommie2betime episode. Today's topic; Ten ways to make your partner part of your pregnancy. We always think about ourselves during our pregnancy, our nausea, our backaches, and what not. What about our partner? How they are involved in going with our pregnancy? Well, I got 10 tips for you today.
Number one, have him or her rub lotion on your belly. It gets your partner more involved with the kicking and what not and leads to number two, when your baby is kicking or moving or rolling or whatever say hey, honey you know you touch my belly, touch my belly, so that your partner can be involved. Number three; send your partner text messages like your baby is 15 weeks' old today. It makes them like really involved in the milestones of your baby's growth. Number four; have him help you fix up the nursery. Okay, like putting the crib together or putting shelves up, or things like that, nesting stuff. Number five; make sure your partner comes with you to the doctor's office when you do things like get sonograms because in sonograms you can actually see the baby and it makes it real for them. Number six; teach him about your baby's growth milestones like when your baby gets hair or growth of their legs or how many ounces they are today. That is exiting too for them. Number seven; show him your growing belly often and help him embrace your changing body because your body is changing and when they get into that they go, Oh! My Gosh something is happening. Number eight; have him work on choosing names for the baby. It is all about you looking everything up online. Have your partner look for names. Number nine; plan to go out coed shower. That is what we did and it works really well because my husband got to open some presents and he had some of his friends over and it was really nice. Number ten; talk to him often about what the baby will look like and act like and have him talk about imagine what the baby is going to be when she or he grows up. So it gets him involved too. So you can be like, Oh! My Gosh, when he or she is 15-years old, is she is going to this, or she is going to do that. So, those are my ten tips for today. I think I am to go back to just washing some baby clothes. Alright, take care of you and your baby. Bye-bye.
