Hey guys, this time I just want to share with another Windows XP theme and this one is called Tango Hashed. So the idea came 20339, one of my YouTube partners. I advice you guys to check out his videos. They’re pretty cool you might something interesting there. So, it says here—hi, I found a theme that I think you should check out, it’s called Tango Hashed and it’s very similar to Slan XP. It’s a neat slim and quite nice theme that I used often on my Windows XP.
So, this is where we can download it. And I’ll just put the links and the description. So, basically I’m just going to give you the tour. This is Tango Hashed, this is the window. This is how it would look like. So instead of minimize, restore and close, we have these neat bars here and this is our task bar. So our start button is a house or a home and them if we click that, this is how our start menu looks like. So as you can see here, this is the black compact Tango and basically, instead of the text and the icon showing together, we have the icons only, because it’s the black compact theme. So anyway, if you unzip your tango hashed folder, so you copy it to whatever drive you have, then Windows, then resources, then themes, then here we go.
As you can see here under my themes, these are the other cool Windows XP themes I had featured in earlier videos so, you might want to check those out as well and this is Tango Hashed. So we also have here Tango Glossy. So if we double click that, the display properties should look up like so and you have a preview here of what’s going on, so we can choose form Blue or Black, Black Compact or Blue Compact, okay I’ll try Blue. There we go and then, these are my other themes, so we’ll just click apply, and there we go. So this is our Tango Glossy Blue theme, so the font size is seven pixels and it’s Verdana, okay the font style is Verdana.
So anyway, it’s pretty neat, pretty simple and I think you’ll like it guys so I advice you to download it. And if again, you haven’t download the UX Theme Patcher, in case that this particular doesn’t work. My advice with you guys is to download the UX Theme patcher, so again, all you need to do is download that, unzip it to anywhere, on your desktop, then run the setup file. And if it asks you to delete your owl styles, just say no, restart and there you go, you are able to use now your new Windows XP themes so that’s just how you do it because basically, these other themes, they’re not with Windows XP. They need a third party software for them to be recognized by Windows XP. So that’s where the UX Theme Patcher comes in, okay?
So there you go, again, thanks to 20339 for sharing this cool Windows XP Theme called Tango Hashed. And again, if you have any questions about my videos or the things related, please do message me here on YouTube and I’ll get to them as soon as I can. My wallpaper by the way, just Google it and just find a nice wallpaper that will go along with your new XP theme. So there we go. Also, I advice you guys to check out my YouTube partners, they’re on my channel, just a click away and you have some cool tutorials there that might interest you.
Alright, so this is just a quick video for another theme, more videos to come, other tutorial and other requests so just watch out for those. So again, thanks for watching this video and as always guys, just have fun. See you!
