How to Get the Perfect Foyer
Feng Shui 101. How to get the perfect Foyer.
Potty area inside your front door; in this Manhattan apartment, we can see the front door at the end of this hallway, this foyer and this inside area in Feng Shui principles is called the Ming Tang or the bright spot.
Now, if this area dark and dingy, you want to really fix that up. So, we’ve actually added this slide because this slide is more decorative. It's very cool isn’t it? It has beautiful kinds of jewel, jewels that accentuate the brass. So what we did was we did some gilding to the ceiling which really wonderful and that’s reflection of light and brightness and this parenthese. You can see the parenthesis from the parenthese lamp.
And this little accent parrot, it’s just a beautiful touch of —and color. But you want to keep the foyer and here using a spot light. So, we’re adding color and brightness. And if the area is dark and dingy, it's going to be difficult to find your life half according to the principles of Feng Shui.
So make sure you have a bright light in hall that it's light, refreshing and welcoming. And it should be uncluttered with enough space to move freely from one room to another. So, here we have a lack of clutter. We just have one whole chair. We have an area where we’re keeping just a few of items of interest and an umbrella stand. Otherwise, all clear.
