How to Give a Photograph a Pop in Photoshop
Welcome to expertphototips.com online photo shop tutorial. Today we’re going to be talking about how to give a photograph a pop. And today we’re going to be focusing on how to focus on a certain part of image that just needs something more.
Now here we have a photograph. We could see it has a nice wine glass. It has a great red color but we can see the rest of photograph is a little bit not out of focus but it has a bad white bell that we could obviously fix that with certain filters. Today, we’re going to be focusing on the tension here on the red wine glass.
First thing of all, I want to do is go into layers and duplicate that layer because we don’t want to lost the information. Now once we’ve done that, we want to go to image and go to adjust.
From there you want to go to channel mixer. Of course, we always use this we want to make a black and white photo. You don’t want to use the plain Photoshop, make it to gray scale image. It’s going to leave information. You want to do that. You have a big photo. You want to save all the information you can. So we’re going to go here to channel mixer. I want to make it monochrome and then I'm going to adjust the image a little bit to my liking and try to back there. Just right there just across will it fit. And I like what I see right there. I' want to click okay.
The next thing we’re going to do because we have two layers. If I used the erase tool, it’s going to erase that monochrome look, so just erase the wine glass. I know there’s other ways to do this but this is the simplest and quickest, and this is a quick lesson. And it doesn’t matter if it looks a little out of place because coming up we’re going to show how to fix that. And we’re at 100% of positive here on this erase tool.
This is okay and it looks terrible, so we want to go over head the layer, positive and we’re on the positive for the image of the background, here we are from where we started and if we create positive you’ll going to see something interesting happen. Notice how the attention follows to really blast as it right. There here that all the attention now has been brought to the glass and the object is around it which is the entire object itself.
So there’s a very simple way how you can get some pop in your photo and I hope you enjoy this online tutorial from expertphotips.com.
