A little too hard and too long for my liking. Some people will try anything once and I'm not sure all cats would enjoy this. Add a disclaimer maybe, like "Caution: Not all cats may enjoy this massage technique. Use discretion when applying pressure to the taps, work your way up slowly and stop at a comfortable pressure. Your cat is the best judge, if he or she doesn't like it, it's not for them.lets you know if it's too hard."

For those of you who think its great did you notice how the cat was digging its claws into him and TRYING to get away when he stopped 'massaging' him/her and the reason why him/her couldnt is because he is hanging onto his/hers back legs

my cat loves to be patted like that everywhere! I don't think I do it quite as hard, but he would probably like it. I just gave him a very long a soft lymphatic massage. he looks like I do after a good massage. totally out of it. haha!

i've cats since i was 5?. i did this a lot to them. it makes them so happy and spoilt. but like guests who experienced the other way round, i guess it depends on the cats. what i noticed is that, mother cats that just gave birth or have found its mate, it tends to bite or hiss, signaling that they're taken. And also adult male cats, i cant exactly put why they're mad but i guess its something to do with trust and macho-ness. haha. and i believe, apart from better blood circulation of the blood, it strengthens their back muscle

My cats hates me for doing it and i was doing it lightly and now he keeping a distance away from me he bit me. it serve's me right for believing everything on the internet.

2 of my cats LOVE it when we do this to them. They would stand there all day and let us do this. The reason the cat is scratching like that is because it likes it. They scratch when they are happy.
