Next, we want to build a teaching station for our ball position. As you can see I came in there and put a club to help Kent line up his body, and his upper body, or his pocket, or his logo to get him in the correct ball position.

A lot of my students ask me, Bryan, why do I have to have the correct ball position? Well we must remember that that golf club is traveling in a circle. If the ball is too far back in our stance, when the club comes down, the club face will be open and turn hitting the ball to the right. If we have the ball too far up in our stance, as the club traveling around its circle, it is already closing down and turn hitting the ball to the left.

By building this little first part of the teaching station, this will help us get back in that repeatable position to help us make that good circular golf swing.
