The step through drill can be is a very useful drill for the down swing. Go ahead and take your addressed position. Now, when you make your down swing, I want you to step through. What this is going to do is going to help you clear your left hip and get your weight transferred to your left side.

Hans is going to do a couple mirror swings or slow motion swings and then he is actually going to hit a short for us.

This drill also helps us when we have to much lateral movement or sliding in the golf swing. Okay, let us put it in fast motion here.
