Hey guys, Mike Hedrick Pit Pirate Barbecue men we are grilling like a villain today men.
We just finished up them hamburgers. They was big and juicy and everything they were great. Right now, we’re going to do some hotdogs. Hotdogs really, neat because well it’s the other kind of meat one of the four food group right there hamburgers, hotdogs, steaks and chicken. That’s four food groups.
When you’re picking hotdogs they make a lot of difference kinds there’s pork hotdog there’ beef hotdogs just got to remember you have all kinds of different people that you party, so try to take care of them.
We’ve got mostly beef hotdogs, we’ve got some Nathan winners out here. We’ve got some Chicken Andoullie sausage over there. We’ve got some Hebrew National Kosher dogs and my wife really loves this Turkey white meat dogs.
But a way that you can do and have a lot of fun with hotdogs is just score kids love doing this because they can mark their own hotdog and they know what’s to sears on the grill. And really all we’re going to do is we’re going to take that hotdog and hey, they even let me have a plastic knife, so it’s going to be safe everybody. And we’re just going to have a score through that skin just the ever so slice this we don’t have to cut really deep in fact you don’t want to cut deep.
You just want to open that skin, and get them on there we’re going to go ahead do this and with the pattern maybe well makes some nice long stripes for one of the boys. And “X” mark is something for the girls or something like that. Like I said you can let them just make around their own hotdogs like this doesn’t hey we’ll do another barber pole and that way they’re keeping track I’m on the grill anytime they’re talking with each other.
They’re not mess with you so that’s a good thing. And you can say they are looking great over here on the grill. We’ve got swirled once, we’ve got some to have the lines cut them on like that. Hey, guys check this some out we got one that says, “Monkey see you on there man.” So you can write your name on there. You can write hey, maybe love notes to your wife or something like that. Put it on the hotdog it’s going to be great.
Hotdogs are pretty much, already pre-cooked, so it’s a matter just put grill marks on them, and just having fun with them put them on the bun, condiments maybe little catsup, mustard, relish all the kind of stuff. We got some steaks going on here next so these dogs are coming all we got priorities, so you’ll be hanging in there.
