Hi I’m Aisha with Picture Perfect Make-up and we’re here at PR at Partners Salon in
Washington D.C. What we’re going to do next is groom the brows. Now brow grooming
is a step that a lot of people don’t think about but it’s really important to help open up the
eye and to overall give a framed look to the face. What I’m going to use is a clear brow
gel or wax depending on your preference and a brush. This is great for guys because it
has absolutely no color. All it’s going to do is hold the browse in place so you don’t have
any unruly strands going all over the place.
What you’re going to do is just brush it through following the natural curve of the brow.
Guys with naturally thick eyebrows can really benefit from this and that’s done. What
we’re going to do next is apply a little bit of translucent powder. This is a great trick for
guys because it’s completely transparent, you don’t even know it’s there and it will also
take away any excess shine from the face. There’s a lot of different ways that you can do
this. I like to use a Buf-Puf because what this will do is just pick-up a very light amount
of powder and you can really press it into the skin.
Make sure you use a powder that has no color in it so that way you get the most natural
look on the skin. I’m just going to apply this in the areas that tend to be the most shiny
and like I said that’s in the T zone right across the forehead and down the center of the
face. And you see how that gives him a nice fresher look but it doesn’t look like make-
up, that’s the effect that you’re going for. Now if you want to go the extra mile and just
get a little bit of a more a healthy glow to the skin a really quick trick to do this is by
using a powder bronzer so what you’re going to do is take a big brush and a powdered
bronzer and just very lightly buff it on the skin.
You don’t want to go all over because then that will give a little more of an artificial look
to keep it the most natural you’re just going to do it on the areas where the sun would
normally hit your skins so again down the nose and a little bit on the cheeks and that’s it,
throw on some chops stick and you’re ready to go. You’re going to look great for stage, if
you’re going to be taking pictures or special occasion. You look polished and clean and
completely natural.
