your dog is so cute! my dog wont let me cut his nails he snaps and wines like im herting him but i dont even touch him.i feel bad because i dont want 2 hert him but i dont want 2 get bit...

How to Groom a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's Nails

And then the last thing I would do is to check that the dog’s claws are short. What you do is to press the foot very, very softly so all the pads open up and you can see whether they need trimming that or not. Fortunately this girl does a lot of hard road work and keep her nails nice and short but you get yourself good quality purpose and you will see the white and then you see the red behind it so don’t go to the red. You go about half way through the white and just snip off. There is another one there. You can take just a minute amount off. They are finely short. If you’re showing a dog there is nothing worst than a judge peeking up the foot and see in long ugly claws. It also helps to keep the foot nice and neat. You go around the back ones and make sure that they are nice and short. This girl as I say does keep her claws very short so that’s about it. You can now bring her back into her pen and get on with her digging.
