This is black and white. We can be a bit more brutal with it. I’m going to use the clip as again with the soft enough foam. Then again put into it’s like where he would be if he was in the show position holding his tail off. We’re just going to take this coat off the side here not going up the top, just the side. Again you just bring in the clip down as straight along. So that already you got a little bit blend in there at the top. Just bring it round there.
Clean out underneath the tail, round this back side there and then when we’ve done that we’re going to comb a little bit light doing the head really. Comb all the hair to one side. Take them with scissors. I’m going along the side of the tail not over the top again. Just cut anything sticky down over the side right at the end of the tail. You don’t want to take too much off of the end of the tail. So again, just bringing the hair off, so that enough very right to the end. Just trim around in his tail. Let’ do it over again. Make sure there are no bits sticking down so there’s a few more there.
Then again, the same in the other way, If I had to do the other way you’ve got to go to the other direction unless you can do that stretching. You can use both hands. I can’t unfortunately.
Now we’ve clean out and there is enough down the side there. We do not like underneath his tail so about an inch below the anus with it then that leaves us with this hair here which you leave because as I’ve said before you might need that if the dog had got slightly low tail. We’ve cleaned the sides of the tail and already by doing that at the end of the tail it’s already trimmed. We don’t really need to do anything with that. Just with this bottom here now.
If we go take that to a demonstration because his tail is so good but if the tails set was down and was sticking often so to that angle then you would use your scissors and you would blend the scissors up to the tail. Instead of you would go round taking it short right down. You would take out the angle that you wanted to going straight up to the tail, straight line along, just following the contour of the back.
Now as I said this dog has got a particularly good toe, so it’s quite often to his back. We don’t need to do that. What we need to do is just hold him, hold his tail up and just work our way along that, just taking out those long hairs that we don’t want. So we’re going straight along the back and straight up the tail then down the side again just to blend it. And then when we use to clip this so with that little line there. Again we’re going to use the scissors along the coat and just blend that in. Of course in doing this I’m taking this nice and short there. Your effect if you’re short and the dark as well which is good. This shouldn’t to be too short. You don’t want a dog that looks like concertina but just to balanced dog.
When you push down with you, sleek and brush, get with rollers and you’re taking off, if there is any bits sticking out just remove them.
