I agree with the other guest, the dog is lucky the groomer has not cut off its ears. Clipping the hair close to the eyes causes more work, when this hair starts to grow again it will stick up and point into the dogs eyes, the best thing to do is to grow the hair down the snout so that it becomes too long to stick up and go into the eyes. I own a TT who is kept in full coat and is matt free due to daily brushing with a pin brush and Mason Pearson. If a TT is cut this short the coat will grow in curly. Regular bathing also avoids mats, and using a poswerful dryer also helps to remove the undercoat and separate the hair. You should research a dog like this before buying asregular professional grooming is also expensive. Keeping a TT however in full coat is not for the faint hearted.

THIS VIDEO IS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING--THE GROOMER--I USE THE TERMLOOSELY--OBVIOUS LY HAS NO IDEA WHAT SO EVER AS TO HOW A TIBETN TERRIER SHOULD LOOK AND SHOULD BE GROOMED---NO CUTTING OR CLIPPING IS REQUIRED SIMPLY GOOD OLD FASHIONED GROOMINH WITH PIN BRUSH GREYHOUND COMB AND SLICKER BRUSH, SHE HAS RUINED THIS DOGS COAT/ PLEASE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GETTING A TIBETAN TERRIER REMEMBER THEY ARE LONG HAIRED SHAGGY COATED DOGS AND THEY NEED REGULAR GROOMING BY THEIR OWNER NOT HACKING BY AN INCOMPETANT SCISSOR HAPPY WOMAN. IF YOU WANT A SHORT HAIRED DO BUY A SHORT HAIRED DOG DONT WRECK THIS WONDERFUL BREEDS COAT LIKE THIS WOMAN IS DOING. AND YES I DO KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT --I AM THE PROUD OWNER OF 2 LONG HAIRED, NOT CLIPPED TTS IN MUDDY WALES/
