Male: Hi guys! And welcome to the new feature here on the blog. You can probably see that the whole thing’s been redesigned and this is one part of it. It’s basically a quick two minute little video that I’m going to shoot everyday. It’s a pretty exciting time for us at the moment because we’re growing as a company. We’re meeting lots of cool people, traveling.
And I’m going to do something like maybe shooting a quick interview with a local foodie. I might show you a restaurant review on video and a really cool restaurant or maybe a quick 30-second tip in the kitchen that will improve you as a chef. So basically, every single day of the week, short, snappy, really cool video. I’m going to start that this week. We were dining—at the farmers market and we met Rupert, really passionate about organic vegetables, brown salads, etcetera. And he told us how to grow the perfect basil, check it out.
Rupert: This is sweet basil which we sell in a little pot just like this. And the best way to grow basil is to put a little pot like this into a nice big pot, keep in a nice sunny spot inside. And the mistake that a lot of people make is buy a big plant at supermarket—it has got masses of masses of little plants and then they keep it in a small pot and really the plant doesn’t have enough space to grow. So, by keeping them in just a few little pots like this and a nice big pot, you can get a nice big plant established. And that will keep it going with basil for the whole season.
