How to Grow Strawberry Plants

Karen: You can use other day neutrals like silicon, seas state silver, It think it is called and if you want to grow in a hanging baskets. So, you do have a lot of options, however, you know if most people want to stick to something that there going to be able to get fruit from underlying season and so your day neutrals are the best. Now the last thing I wanted to ask is what about fertilizing. Fertilizing means obviously I want to use an organic fertilizer. Karen: I would. Gord: Maybe this is be a loaded question right there. You know there are still certain people always using bone mills and things like that. What type of nutrients you are looking for now, a high nitrogen, high phosphorus. Karen: No, definitely not high nitrogen with strawberry’s, because which you are going to wine up with is a tonic green stuff and new berry’s. Strawberries like a well balance fertilizer and they need consistent small amounts. You can use a bone mill and obviously have a liquid bone mill here. It is great if we first plant to up here because it is going to frostier some root development right away. And give as a boost and you can actually, probably give it a liquid bone mill about three times during the growing season, half dosage. I will give them the first shot now, second shot when you take after that first bloom as often as second winters gives you a second shot and maybe another one little bit later on the a season just to make sure you are going to get fruit rate fruit until frost.
