It’s no surprise that in many places the holiday festivities begin when the lights come on. In fact
nothing brings out the magic of Christmas like a dazzling light display. And while we all enjoy
them the actual process of hanging Christmas lights can be a little tricky. So here are few tips
that will make the process easier. For indoor holiday lighting you might find to help for the plan
project supporting to each room. And while you’re planning remember, simple is better so you
settle on one kind of bulb for the tree and consider traditional holiday colors like red, green and
gold for the décor.
Before you start hanging, test your lights. Plug them to be sure you have burned out bulbs but if
you do replace them with new ones of the same voltage made by the same manufacturer. It’s
worthwhile to invest in the ultra lit light keeper pro-repair tool. It design to helps solve problem
associated with faulty miniature light sets involves. You can purchase it with your other holiday
trimming at the Home Depot or online at homedepot.com. Now, when you start hanging lights
work from the top down, for tall trees it’s easier to decorate the top several feet while the tree is
still lying on it’s side. Zigzag the lights from top to bottom keeping the spacing even place some
lights in the branch ends, some in the middle and others close to the trunk. Or you can create a
three dimensional look by wrapping each branch with lights starting at the trunk and then
working at the tip of branch and back toward the trunk. This technique requires many lights
strands but the effect is well worth it.
Finally test your lights again once they are in place. Then add your ornaments and other
decorations, two wills are done. Always put the lights on the tree before the ornaments and never
hang ornaments from lights or there wiring. If you want to know how many lights to use in your
Christmas tree the rulers to use between 100 to 150 mini lights per foot of tree. The hundred light
rules allow more visibility of ornaments and for ledge. While the 150 light rules create the
stronger twinkling effect, it’s strictly up to you. However I highly recommend purchasing a timer
to turn the lights on and off automatically. You will enjoy your lights more that way.
And for safety, unplug all strands and extension cords when you’re not using the lights for an
extended period of time. If you want to decorate an interior window attach the light with section
cap hooks, support lamps or light clips. Support lamps are plastic tubes with double sided tape,
light clips are plastic clips with double sided tape and we all know its sections caps are. For
railings and mantels simply add garland with light same ornaments. Now, the inside of your
home is holiday friendly. Remember, you can purchase all of these materials including ultra lit
light keeper pro at the Home Depot or online at homedepot.com. Happy Holidays to you and
your work, see you next time.
More saving more doing that’s the power of the Home Depot.
