Good morning I am about to go to yoga. So, I am going to make my Brown Rice breakfast.

When I was on the market Stewart Apprentice, I made this every morning because it took five minutes. And, everyone was obsessed with it. So, I just took about half a cup of brown rice. This is for one person. I do not believe in the measuring, I want to write book called “Made not to Measure” because I just do not think that people should be constricted and should learn how to think themselves. This is half a cup of brown rice and then I have some slivered almonds, you could use walnuts. You could pecans, whatever you have. The purpose is to make as easy and fit into your life. And, I would put about a tablespoon of these. Same thing, tablespoon of raisin but you could use a tablespoon of dried cranberries, blueberries.
Now, I am going to add the wet ingredients. Put some soymilk, you can but it any brand soymilk. A quarter of a cup two tablespoons of soymilk, I am just sprinkling it in here to get wet. You could use skim milk, you know a lot of people are intolerant dairy so I use soymilk, I think it is a little bit healthier. It might be my psychological thing. I do not like to eat too much dairy.
Now, I am going to add a tablespoon of maple syrup, you could also substitute honey, if you only had brown sugar around, it is okay because moisture from the soymilk. I like maple syrup it is healthy it is good for you. If it is good maple syrup it has a lot of vitamins in it. And then, a dash this is optional, but I do a dash of vanilla extract so now, a little bit of cinnamon just sprinkle cinnamon. Now, you mix this up, and you can either heat it on the stove top. Or you can microwave it.
It is really good. Everytime I taste this, I cannot believe I go to this. It is so simple, two minutes. I mean I took long did that I take? It is so good everybody on the Apprentice was obsessed with it. Brown Rice Breakfast there you have it.

Disposable containers are way to matter your portions, make you eat healthy, have something to bring to work, and it is economical. Because this Brown Rice breakfast that I just made would cost, you know and an oatmeal would be $4 for one day. And I have to say this is probably like two to three days. And it cost nothing it was leftover things I had in my pantry. So, I would buy these containers and I would fill them up, and just keep them up at work. Or even keep it in your refrigerator and everyday. You have a portion. Biggest problem with food for people is portions. I am thin because I have portion control, not because I do not eat. I eat everything. So, I would just make a nice portion for yourself and there is your breakfast, just one healthy breakfast.
