Interviewer: The holidays are for celebrating with traditional and fattening foods but if you ask
yourself 10 key questions at home, at the store and before parties you can make it
to the New Year without needing a plus size wardrobe. Let’s start at the
supermarket, did you make a lists and check it twice?
Ellen Hass: Really plan ahead and make sure that you don’t buy too much because if you do
over buy you have it in the house and you eat it and that’s help calories add up.
Interviewer: Are you reading levels and paying attention to serving size?
Ellen Hass: It’s been time looking with it at any level before you buy it. Absolutely look at
serving siz.
Sherri Flynt: A half of cup of ice cream is considered inappropriate serving in size. That’s
about what we’ve fit in the palm of my hand.
Interviewer: So one little pine even if it is low fat equals four serving.
Sherri Flynt: Most of us could set down and probably eat it all at one time and I think we’re
doing wrongly well.
Interviewer: Are you shopping the parameter of the store? Remember, fructose, dairy, meat

Ellen Hass: It’s the inside that isles that really have the highest fats, a highest sugar contains
and those with the foods that you should be worry up.
Interviewer: Let’s had home, are you using your time wisely to cook ahead when you know the
week will be hectic?
Ellen Hass: Make sure that you have your freezer stock with all kinds of soups like butter nut

Interviewer: Have you given your traditional recipes a healthy make over? For example?
Ellen Hass: If you had the apple sauce then you really don’t have to had any butter to make
those sweet potatoes delicious.
Interviewer: Here’s one you might not think off, are you getting enough sleep?
Sherri Flynt: When we’re sleep deprive which means we’re getting less and probably seven
hours of sleep a night, there are certain chemicals in our body cortisol namely that
are increase and when cortisol levels go up we find it much easier to gain weight.
Interviewer: Holiday parties are an important part of the season so let’s say tonight your
attending one, did you skip from meals so you impure later?
Helen Hass: Having little of food or veggies before you go to a party so that you are not
starving and you don’t run for the chips and dip.
Interviewer: Standing out the buffet? Which plate are you going to take?
Sherri Flynt: If you have a plate that’s 9 inches and it’s full, your brain interprets that the same
way as if you had the 15 inches plate that was full. You still feel like you pad a
full plate of food even though you read incredible less.
Interviewer: Make a toast, did you count those calories?
Sherri Flynt: To set down and have a glass of wine or two glasses of wine at dinner can
contribute a quite of few calories to your meal.
Interviewer: And finally are you putting food before fun?
Helen Hass: Food is a wonderful thing that brings people together and connects people but so
with the family walk or going out with your friends for a hike before a big dinner
