How to Help Obese Children

How do we encourage kids to exercise more? Dr. Thaddeus Bell: I think if you want to have your child understand that exercises is important, I think that you have to set the example for the child early in his life. Because children have the tendency to model if to what there parent to do. So, if you put exercise in your life and you always taking the child out when you go for a walk then the child will automatically try to model that behavior. So, we always try to encourage parents to teach kids that they should be exercising from the greater to the grave and if they adopt that mentality they will be a lot better off.
