Joe here. Check this out. Uneven lie downhill. Here is how it works. You have to take one less club, so for an example, instead of a 7-iron, hit an 8-iron. The reason for it is, you're going to hit it lower and longer. So, use little bit more loft, dump the 7, hit the 8.
The way you set up to hit this shot is to make sure that the ball positions in the center of your stance, make sure that your hip is back and a little bit up the hill, and then that helps you get your shoulders on line with the slope as well. Then make your normal swing.
The setup goes like this. Ball position in the center, bring your right foot back and your hip up just a little bit, make sure your shoulders are on line, and just make your good golf swing, just trust it. That's what I am talking about.
Key points:
1. Use a more lofted club.
2. Ball in center of stance.
3. Position hip back and up the hill.
4. Make your normal full swing.
