A Digital Memory Wall is a series of monitors that stream your photos. So, they are not stashed sway and dust the albums. It is like a visual news feed of your family and with a files network to computer, your relatives can add to it instantly with their latest pics.
Here is what you will need.
A customized computer
Windows XP or Vista
Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard
2 Fire MV PCI-e Graphics Cards
1 Dual Output ATI Graphics Card
Photo Screensaver Software
Photo Sharing Software (like Flickr or Picasa)
LCD Monitors (VGA or DVI Inputs)
Internet Connection (FiOS Recommended)
For the smoothes photo stream, use Verizon internet.
Step 1:
Assemble your custom computer. Running thin monitors with a constant photo stream will demand a lot from your computer. To avoid crashes, accustom configure the computer with these minimum requirements:
600 watt power supply, dual core processor, and 2GB DDR2, DRAM memory. Then I tweak the input/output settings on the motherboard to allocate the more DRAM memory for video.
