Last week we showed you how to build the 10 dollars stop motion puppets. This week we are going to show you how to make a miniature stop motion set and some techniques for shooting. I decided that we create my backyard from Oakland and since we have a little Erick and little backyard we are going to need a little Garry and a little wheel prosperity.
But before we got started we are going to have out tiny Garry, spin our tiny wheel prosperity and determine our little budget.

$10.00 again.
(COMMERCIAL)
Here is what you will need for this build.
Some cardboard boxes, a wooden dale, some wooden secure from the grocery store, wax paper, something as a base. I found this foam board lying around the office and the acrylic paint as if they are was from last week.

Start with your base. put a mark off where going to want buildings or structure. Once I have a general plan I start cutting up boxes and building walls. Remember that you do not have to build the whole thing, just two or three sides. The fence is just made up with more cardboard. Drawing lines and trimming with scissors adds details.
The roof is even more cardboard held in place with a pin in lots of tape. At this point I have attached the clip light to the interior of the house. Using the ruler, I marked up my windows and then cut. To add the fusion all tape in two layers of wax paper behind the windows. Drawing lines in back side of this makes it look like mini Venetian Blinds.
After hot gluing the wooden secure as a window dress up we are ready for paint. The mini wheels of yogurt lane with the paint job and link of the dale is the base. Mini Garry shorten skin were cut from the real Garry, and then hot glued on the water up newspapers.
Most of you probably are already have some idea of how stop in and make it works. You take a picture, move your model a little bit, take your picture, move your model, repeat, repeat, and repeat. Then when you put this hundreds of pictures together in your editing program it is looks like your character is moving.
I also use the free program called frame thief to help with the test film but for more techniques on stopping animation, check out this Friday episode of weekend extra.
