How to Illuminate Stiff Link Chains

So when your chain is skipping on your bike, one thing that can cause, it is a stiff link, you can see how this one link here. It doesn't want to move freely. What you can do is on the trail if you see that you have a stiff link and you turn your crank backwards and you will see the jockey wheels jump as the chain goes back where it will go smoothly and then you will see this bent link moving along the chain and then the jockey wheels will jump.

Then you find that stiff link, then all you do is just grab it and bend the chain laterally side-to-side a little bit. You are trying to pry those two plates apart. And now see that link that was so stiff is now moving perfectly freely. So that's how you eliminate a stiff link on the trail.
