Welcome back! My name is Ravi Arora and today I want to talk about time management.
I went in a seminar yesterday and we were told about four things that actually influence the way we manage our time and that is congruency, concentration, control, and communication but I'm just going to give you one element today and I'm going to talk about control.
Control requires you to buy some dump it, do it, date it, delegate it or find it. And the golden rule is when a piece of paper comes your way or an e-mail interrupts what you’re doing. It will take you four and a half minutes or less to execute it and if it takes, less than four and half minutes to execute it, then actually do it. If it takes you more, then you need to file it because if you don’t file it. Its going to distract you from what you want to doing and waste your time so control, dump it, do it, date it, or delegate it or file it.
