I like the old saying; you are only as good as your second serve. With Kalindy we have spent the last few months working on developing a topspin or kick second serve.

To give her an initial feel for this shot, we use the Spin Doctor. Then by adjusting her toss to the left along with a few practice sessions, she was jump-started to hitting this advanced second serve quite quickly especially considering that she is still only 11-years-old, and playing seriously for about a year and casually for a year before that.
