The date and time can easily be inserted into your Dreamweaver webpage and you can even set it up a part will be automatically updated every time you update your webpage. So in order to do this, you want to first of all decide where you want your date and or time to be displayed at. I’m going to go ahead and I’m going to put it at the bottom of my homepage.
So, I’m going to go ahead and click in that space that I want it to appear and then up on my common tab on my insert tool bar, I’m going to click on the date option which is the calendar button, and as I go to bring up my insert date dialogue box. Now I can choose here to have a date or to have a time or to have both which have a time, just to have a date.
So, I can go ahead and I can put the day if I want, so I can choose to have the day and then I could go down here and I could choose a date format that I like and you have quite a few options here. And then you could choose to have a time if you’d like or you could choose not to have a time.
You can also choose to update automatically on save, so each time you save this website and it gets published out in the internet then it will go ahead and it will show your visitors that it was updated recently.
So click okay, and go ahead and I will click so we can see a little bit better in here we have our inserted date and time. You can got ahead in here and use your regular text settings and your properties pane. So, go ahead and format this the way that you like.
