How to Install Active Directories in Windows Server 2003 R2
Hi. Welcome to our Windows Tutorial. Today we’re going to look at how to install active directory DNS and DHCP on Windows Server 2003. So before we get started doing that, first let’s give one of our network connections at the IP addresses. So you see this, if you have one that’s like, got link to the no connectivity, right click on it, con status, click on Properties, click on Internet Protocol, and Properties, and give an IP address, the subnet mask, default gateway if you need to, and a DNS. So we have one already.
Okay when you sent anymore and they’re not showing them in the task bar. Go to Control Panel, Network Connections, and click on the one you want. Then click Properties again, and then from tools again there, and give an IP address.
Okay, now we’ve done that, we can go ahead and I will start to install active directory. So, let’s get started. You click Start. Click on Manage Your Server, click on Add or Remove Role. Make sure you have your Windows Server 2003 CD in the drive and click next.
Okay now, it’s done at that. Click on Digital Configuration for the first Server, and click next, enter domain and this isn’t quite as it is, and click next. You can ignore this page and just carry on, click next.
Okay, now click next to start installation. It gives you this message that it will reboot. Click Okay. Because I have two network adapters is asking me to set up rooting memory access, so I select the one that you use for internet, and click next, and I can finish. And that’s the server for that done. Now what it asks is the directory and DNS and DHCP installed.
Okay now the computer has started, you can press Control Delete to log it again. Okay now click next, and Finish. And now you see what mostly just installed about on the Windows Server Window. So that’s it for this tutorial. Look out for more, coming soon.
