You know, from personal research I have done, I have discovered the crown molding is a very popular topic among homeowners. It is good looking. It really can set off a room and it adds value to your home. So it is a good project that you should think about doing. But you know what, what about putting crown molding in some other places in your house that you might not think off.
How about putting crown molding on cabinets. You have cabinets in your kitchen maybe even if you have got regular type cabinets in your bathroom, it is all fair game. Cabinets, even the most inexpensive ones are generally perfectly made boxes which means 90-degree angles but there is one thing you need to know, you have to put some framing, some very simple wood on top of the cabinets that you attached the crown molding to. We are not going to nail the crown molding to the cabinets. That is not a good idea.
The best part is you just have to make regular 45-degree angle cuts to make the miters look perfect. Wait a minute, anybody can do regular inside and outside 90-degree angles, how about doing fancy corners like this one? Oh yes, that is what I am going to teach you.
