Today I want to show you how to add font and install them to your computer. This is via the request by volcom0162 where you requested these font things to though and I only do a video request for subscribers because if you don’t like my videos enough to subscribe it will make sense if I approved your video request. So once again, volvom0162 thank you.
So all you really have to do is to go to dafont.com, so not a proper grammar just—and so just go to dafont.com. So there’s lots of different fonts and different categories and we go last fonts added, there’s grymmoire, the fancy, foreign look, bitmap, techno, gothic, basic, script, everything here. You can go to the script and calligraphy there’s some cool script here, fancy you know, that’s calligraphy, if you know what that is, and I actually gallery this one right now.
Well, let’s go to fire nice, that sounds cool and this place is good and you can click it for a preview of all the letters then if you like enough you can download it for a PC and the Mac, so if you have a Mac it’s okay. They even actually show you instructions how to install them, so basically on windows we see, you want to right click on the font and click install, one of those XP for default font and to see on windows, fonts and then Mac whatever, I don’t care.
But anyway let’s just click download and this is a trial so you do are going to need WinZip, Winrar, 7-Zip or any achieve you know program. Click save file or open with, sorry, downloading it and it’s scanning it. You want to open it and you could obtain a folder and they can just drag it out to the desktop or whatever. Just want a place where you can work with it and then you can click right click, click open to WinZip or whatever you’re using anyway you just want to extract it to desktop.
You can close your WinZip folder. And here we go we got the actual text font file, it’s three type, that’s what kind of different files, there are also open type and different ones. You can trash this and recycle this zip file and then we can open it up, preview it, now it looks good, the quick brown fox, it’s always like that. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog—anyway, for Windows Vista just right click and click install and for windows XP you want to go to control panel start menu, control panel but all these access are up on my RocketDock, very handy. You want to go to fonts, it’s alphabetical order, so just double click it, minimize this, drag the file, click and drag into the folder and pick a note of the name, it’s blazed, just click, continue and they will install, and it float in.
Still loading, okay I guess this is just going to load for a while. So basically this is just going to show up and then you can use it in a Microsoft word, office, open office, any texts sort of document program. You can also use it for RocketDock and it just applies into your windows or PC or Mac and then you can apply it to your programs, so I can access it. So I think you have to reboot it for RocketDock to use it. So next time you start up.
So it was called Blazed, because this is alphabetical order. It was not here so if you want to see it you want to right click and you will just want to click refresh. And it should come up here. Once again, preview it and also if you want to just—while you’re in this profile folder you can do preview some and if you know you’re never going to use it like you don’t like it at all then you can delete it because that makes your computer run up faster because all these fonts laid up at start up.
So that’s basically it. And then do a lot of stuff with this font. Let’s see if I can maybe, yeah, I’m pretty sure that you have to reboot this, let’s just try now. Yeah, actually no, you just have to refresh it. So okay, that’s good, very good. Well, then just try to restart your computer, so let’s try to refresh your computer, why do I keep saying that, restart and it should show up. It should always. Now I forgot the one that I had, that I actually liked.
