Male: The guy who is taking over is West Cisco with Upanor and wish you’re well on their way with our radiant floor system how did you get so much done so fast working by yourself.
Male: Well it’s a system called quick track and what we have here is a half inch plywood. That on the back you have hit admission plate and a duct tape group, this right here allows for our tubing, which 5-16 pecks is tubing to go in, okay. And conduct to hit the admission plate allowing the even distribution of here across the floor.
Male: And it’s pretty cool the way you all of this pieces that showing us here. Then I see you have a little circle tracks in here, so it’s just basically is a loop that continues and then how does it get all the heat in there.
Male: Right, well we start of with this that we do a heat loss. And that’s going to tell us how many loops are in course and that will tell me circuits. And in this case we have four, okay, and we ran back to a metal fold which is our distribution center going to our heat source. So that point we have circulator and it circulates some warm water through the floor and at that point.
Male: Sounds pretty simple though. Were planning on putting a three eight inch pre-finished hard wood on there. How do you keep it where expanding, contracting, and kind of separating the wood?
Male: That’s perfect the application that you’re going to have there and you won’t have any problems with expansion or construction because that’s going to be more of a moisture issue. Were doing is just warming the wood okay and there’s many other applications that you can do.
Male: Now do I understand you could also put it on the wall?
Male: Of course, you can do a quick talk about four feet up a little wings coating now you have a nice warm coasty cocoon that you’re in.
Male: Well now on pretty good size room here for a bedroom, so were 500 square feet any limitations on when you can use this as far the size of the room.
Male: No not at all basically what you’re going to have to do is a heat loss if the numbers work the possibilities are endless.
Male: And I can’t wait to see this thing took place. With a few more screws West finishes attacking the quick trek in the plywood base before he add some silicon at each of the group and snap into two. All of these troops come together in a manifold, which is then connected, to an ordinary water heater. The system is a closed loop so you don’t end with any steel drinking water but other wise you can use whatever hot water source makes the most economics in.
