Male Speaker: Today we're going to install the Sprint Booster. The small electronic module that enhances your throttle response, kind of like short shift kit for your accelerator pedal.
They have a better understanding of how to install the Sprint Booster Unit. I have already taken the pedal assembly out of the vehicle. So you can see how it installs on the vehicle. You've got a pair of rails at the base that interact with a pair of rails
on the floor board of the vehicle. You also have a small inspection hole right here at this side. If you're looking at that inspection hole on your car, then you'll see a white plastic piece in here.
What you're going to do is use the small BMW flat blade screw driver that's in your tool kit. It's perfect for this job, because it actually fits right in between a couple other little lock tabs. And what I am going to do is I will put that right up against the top surface of the white piece, and you'll gently pry against it and what you really don't underneath there, is you're going to try to slide the screwdriver in that slot right there underneath the white tab.
Once you have accomplished that, you'll be able to then wiggle the upper part of the pedal out. It will remove towards the left of your car, and then what you're going to do is slide that lower rail out. Then the whole thing will be able to be turned over. At that point, you're going to see the factory wire harness that attaches to the Drive-By-Wire pedal assembly. And you're going to gently start prying that little plug off of there, and you'll take it off and what you're going to just do is take the Sprint Booster, it has a one-way fit on the Sprint Booster, you'll put it on to the pedal assembly and then what you'll do is take the original Drive-By-Wire harness in the vehicle and plug it into there.
When you finish assembling, make sure that you latch this piece underneath the little retainer, so it doesn't interfere with any pedal operation, turn the thing back over, slide the lower rail in first, push it to the right, and then what you're going to do is you'll feel it latching tight, and you're done.
Male Speaker: Yeah, there is a difference even with that. I think it's even more crazy.
Male Speaker: Really?
Male Speaker: Yeah.
Male Speaker: You want one?
Male Speaker: It's kind of interesting actually.
Male Speaker: You got to keep you on the car.
Male Speaker: It's that we go to full throttle faster.
