Thanks for considering Truxedo, as you'll soon find out, the TruXedo low profile soft rolled up Tonneau cover has great looks, convenience and versatility, all rolled up into one great cover. Getting started is easy, as the TruXedo low profile components come pre-assembled and ready for quick installation. There are two side rails, cover assembly box of hardware, and complete installation instructions in each Lo Pro QT. Installation is simple and only takes minutes.
Step 1, with the provided clamps, clamp the side rails on to the inside lip of the truck bed. There are three clamps for each side rail, and each is adjustable to three positions to fit beds that slightly tip in or out.
Step 2, set the complete cover assembly on the rails behind the cab, slide the header guides located on the under side of the front header on to the side rails.
Step 3, unroll the cover towards the tailgate, rotate the rear header into the header stops and press down to lock the toggle into the rear header, then pull cover fabric over the rails to the well programmed fastening system.
Finally, adjust and set the tension control during the warmest part of the day. With the cover closed release Velcro from both side rails near the cab, check the compression of old spring plungers against the front header, roll the cover open, and make adjustments to the spring plungers with the flathead screwdriver, close the cover and recheck the adjustment, repeat until satisfactory tension is achieved.
With TruXedo's patented automatic tension control, adjustment will only need to be completed one time. Operation, operating the Lo Pro is fast and easy, and the entire cover rolls up the haul oversize cargo, and it closes to keep similar items safe and secure.
To open, open the tailgate and release the latch on the driver's side by puling the trigger on the latch, from one side of the truck, roll the rear header back toward the cab, the rear header and bows roll up right along with the cover to form an even compact roll.
The complete cover stores at the front of the bed, with two self adjusting security straps, now you have complete access to the truck bed for holding large cargo or hooking up the fit wheel, that's complete freedom to use your truck like a truck.
Just reverse the steps to close, the Lo Pro automatically secures when latched to the tailgate, and cannot be opened without opening the tailgate. For added security it locks with the locking tailgate.
