Steganos Safe 2008 protects files on your computer among many other things. It creates and maintains encrypted safes on your hard drive as well as on portable drives. You have the added options to store your password on the removable drive such as the USB thumb drive or pocket PC. This feature remembers your password for you unlocking your security drives by attaching the device to your computer. Steganos Safe also allows for visual password called PicPass.
Click a series of pictures in a certain order to set of visual combination code. This is great for people that can’t remember things like numbers and letters. The deletion process is also thorough with the data shredder, any file or drive that’s deleted is eliminated completely from your drive preventing any future recovery.
Every drive is secured by the advance encryption algorithm AES with 256 bits which is so secured that is the world’s standard in date encryption. A still download version of Safe 2008 is available for free. With safe one you’re limited to two safes each with the maximum capacity of one gigabyte.
