Do you have a substance abuse problem? Evaluate yourself using my ten self-evaluation questions below. Are you in denial? You are not sure? Well, the good news for you is that I am listing 10 questions here to help you determine if you have a drug or an alcohol addition problem.
The self-evaluation exercise in my book Addiction Education. You Have Questions, I Have Answers! Actually contains 28 questions about the power of these questions I have learned that I am sharing with you today should effectively initially evaluate your situation. You maybe in danger becoming addicted or you perhaps already are addicted. Find out for certain. Please, don't put this off until it is too late. It's just too terribly important.
Be more honest with yourself then you ever have when answering these question and I can tell you that this exercise maybe the start of your way back to the life you deserve to live. Before we start I want you to pause this video for a moment. Grab yourself paper and pencil so you can list 1 through 10 down the left side of the page and then make a column for yeses and make a column for nos at the top of the page and as you answer each question place a star or a checkmark under the correct answer and next to the right question number. When you are finished, count the number of stars or checkmarks under each answers. This will help you to determine what you need to do next.
Remember this is not a test and there are no wrong answers here. Please, let me repeat this, be very honest with yourself when giving your answers. Don't pull the wool over your own eyes, it's just not necessary. Answering these questions honestly for yourself and following advice given may just save your life. Hey! I am very serious here. Are you ready? Let's go.
Question one, do you regularly use a drug at certain times of the day or on certain occasions, for example, when you go to bed, when you wake up before or after meal or before or after sex? Please, choose yes or no. List your answer in the right column under next to the correct numbers. And do you ever use drugs when you are alone? Answer yes or no, place the correct answer in the right column next to the number two.
Have you ever thought that your life might be better if you didn't take drugs? Answer yes or no, place your correct answer in the correct column, next to the number three. Have you ever lied to a doctor or faked symptoms to get prescription drugs? Answer yes or no. Please, place the correct answer in the proper column next to the number four. Number five; has your drug use ever caused problems for you with school or with work? Answer yes or no, place into the proper column next to the number five.
Number six, have you ever done something when you were high that you felt guiltily about later? Answer yes or no, place the answer in the proper column next to the number six. Number seven is, have you ever associated with people with whom you normally wouldn't associate with just so you could have access to drugs? Answer yes or no, place your answer in the proper column next to the number seven.
Have you ever lied about your drug use to family members or friends? Answer yes or no, place your answer in the proper column next to the number eight. Have you ever used drugs for a longer period of time than you originally intended? Answer yes or no, place the answer in the proper column and next to the number nine and number ten, have you ever used more than one drug at a time answer? Yes or no, place your answer in the proper column next to the number ten.
Okay, advice for your answers. If you answered yes to any two of these questions, well this is a sign that you probably have a problem with drugs. If you have answered yes any three, the probability is that you do have a problem with drugs and if you answered yes to four or more you definitely have a problem with friend. Seek help as soon as possible, please take action down to stop.
