How to Light a Cocktail Party

The easy way to make your home cocktail party ready; let’s play with the lighting a little bit. When you have existing lamps you can replace the bulbs with something that has a great color to it. This makes the room glow that almost looks like candle light throughout the entire room.

Another way to continue the ambience throughout your room is a simple floor standing up light. This can be bought at Home Depot or a local hardware store that you get one to the touch.

You shoot it straight up the wall, move it away from the wall about four to six inches so you don’t cause a fire. What’s great about this room is that it has a fireplace in it which is natural ambiance and beauty. And what I suggest we do is even though there is fire here, let’s add more. Let’s do votives. This is going to look gorgeous. It’s going to reflect on the wall and that is your party planning style secret.
