Dennis Bartram: …slowly.
Female: How would you do it slowly?
Dennis Bartram: Slowly, you have to learn that the body has some swing (Muffled). So, when you walk, you get free swing. So, when this leg goes forward, this arm swings and when this leg has finished going forward, this legs swings. So, it is called the swing (Muffled).
So, the moving movements you can imply where your body is moved by your swing the better because that is effortless, so same with my shoulder that they will go forward in the swing because it is an axis, pendular axis here. It is a balance circuit. If I jump forward, I would swing forward, would I?
Female: Yes
Dennis Bartram: So, that is one pendular activity. In here, it is a little bit like to go back so I am swinging back, just swinging it back. But, I could use the pendulum effect in the body. So either way, it is almost—just setting for the pendulum effect—
[Demonstration].
This is the (Muffled) spine and this represents all of the tensions and integrities, if this are better, but these would not roughly represent those shapes. So, to maintain the integrity, it is both in a hierarchy where it produces condyle level when it moves. So, if the spine is in that position, that is a condyle level. So, all parts of the system is taking the load. There is no other part of that anymore than the rest at any one time throughout that movement. There is the spine twists and torsions, but integrity would maintain. That is the unbelievable power inside the spine. That is the dynamics of the spine. That is what sort of misunderstood about the spine.
So you got to let to move the spine and also to waist. So, condyle level is one of them, so if the legs you can deliver, it is working with the arm which is moving forward as well and the rest of the body so you have got different condyle levels, but usually almost like a dome effect, so the body cannot fall.
So, once you understand that and I would start with something with a big pushing. In the movement process, a lot of people fall forward onto a bean bag. Just to get this feeling, just because—most people have a fear of falling, but you do not let your section of falling, the best place to learn is inside of a fall and not wait for the fall to happen and then try to correct (Muffled), you cannot and have no control over.
So, going down slowly, that is an easy step. Does that make sense? And going back up. That was it. So, if you wanted to fall, make sure to break it down in the stages, that is about these centers of stages I could get. So, it is crouch, pendular forward swing, lay back and reach down, lay back, two legs, forward arm with one forward arm, relax. Your body can be place and everything is off the floor. So, you can get foot back up, bring the other one to make it, balance on your pelvis, then stand. That maintains my knees, my pelvis, my spine and lower spine, all part of when I am doing that.
Because I am working, so I am working away. So, I was (Muffled), depend on what I want to do. Basically, we are like in this position all of the time. So, if the shovel is over there, I have to go and reach it like that and you can remain sitting while you are just going for it because there is enough (Muffled) to crawl reach. So, I just find things deliberately to do. Thus, when I am gardening even you do not have space at times, when I garden, I like to give some (Muffled) and I know how to go out for that. Do you get me?
Female: Yes.
Dennis Bartram: So, I could be (Muffled) for little project and now that is a crawl.
Female: Right.
[Demonstration]
Dennis Bartram: Now, we are going (Muffled) and out. So, that is probably what I would do. I use these rocks for balance [Demonstration]. When you (Muffled) to show you, you lose some. You will realize how much you are going to maintain. You need to keep doing these things to maintain it.
[Demonstration]
And now, I would do the leaping, forward leaping.
[Demonstration]
That sort of thing and that was all of it.
Female: Well, I am also saying because I want you to (Muffled) just feel like you are probably (Muffled) corner and as well as you travel and I want you to for example you put the trails.
Dennis Bartram: Oh, the trails over there.
Female: Yes, and the trails (Muffled), and we can be (Muffled), if you are doing a lot everyday, you would think a lot of our body are going forward.
Dennis Bartram: Well, last week I did this—
