How to Make Apple Oat Muffins

I love to start my day with low fat apple-oat muffins. First, I am going to preheat the oven to 400. I am going to add one and half cups of all-purpose flour and a cup of oats, two-thirds cup of brown sugar, half teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of baking soda, one and a half teaspoons of baking powder, one half teaspoon of cinnamon. Whisk all the ingredients together, eight ounce cup of low fat yogurt to a small bowl, a quarter cup of non-fat milk. I'm going to add two tablespoons of vegetable oil, a teaspoon of vanilla and add one egg also.

Then I’m going to mix it up with the whisk. So it’s all mixed up. I’ve made a well in my dry mixture and I’m going to add the moist mixture to it and let’s start gently just into it until it’s lightly mix up. So I’m going to go ahead and add two cups of the diced apples and I’m going to mix them by hand since the mixtures are already pretty thick. It will be easier just to mix it up and get it mix evenly as well. I’m going to add the mixture now to a muffin pan. We just got to make sure that I had divided the muffin mix in to the pan evenly. The muffins are ready for the oven. So I’m going to put them in for about 20 minutes.

So it’s been 20 minutes, I’m going to check the muffins. They look just about done. They’re springing to the tops, so it looks like they’re ready to go. They smell delicious. I will let them cool for 15 minutes.
