How to Make Banana Nut French Toast

This is another great healthy breakfast, it is easy, it is quick and it has got a lot of nutrition. [Music-Playing] Breakfast at Bethenny’s Healthy, quick, and easy Part II Low calorie Banana Nut French toast I take egg whites. I usually buy the carton and just whip the egg because it is very easy. But people want that to be simple so you can buy this literally. One of my rules is do not have anything with ingredients you cannot pronounce and this is 100% egg whites. So the best we could do. We basically use just enough to get the bread and then you are going to use a dash of cinnamon, a dash of an extract. This is a little bit of banana extract. You can buy this in any store and literally, it will make this French toast taste like banana bread. It said complete, it is cheating. It is cheating, it is having something that taste like banana bread but has the calories of a piece of bread and some egg whites. This is a good thing and this is great. I am going to use about a teaspoons of maple syrup, little more than a cheeseburger, let us mix it together. Now, as you can see, this is a really brown bread. If it just says wheat and it looks sort of white or light beige, it is not really that nutritional. So, this a spread in green but I just have what is called Ezekiel. You have to keep in the refrigerator because it is perishable and that is enough. If it said perishable, it is probably fresh and good for you. So basically, you just wet the bread and the egg mixture. [Music-Playing] I like to sprinkle a couple of just walnuts on top of the French toast, a little extra protein, a little interesting. A little bit of fruit and I really need to use very much maple syrup while I was making it plus a lot that is left in the egg mixture so I would just sprinkle another. That is it. That is a really, really nice satisfying do it for breakfast. It took five minutes. I do not even know if it took five minutes. [Music-Playing] I am always amazed. It looks delicious.
