How to Make Banana Pancakes

Daddy, daddy wake up and make us banana pancakes.

Jason Hill: Chef’s work is never done. That’s better. I’m Chef Jason Hill and today let’s make some delicious banana pancakes. Here is our recipe, one cup all purpose flour, one cup whole-wheat flour, a baking soda, one teaspoon of salt, two teaspoons of baking powder, two tablespoons of sugar, and a half teaspoon of some pumpkin pie spice. Next we add two cups of milk or with a quarter cup of vegetable oil and two eggs and I dice the bananas into small pieces. Some people like to mash the bananas into their batter but I prefer having the banana pieces whole. Add the banana to your pancake mix and stir into the batter. After I put the bananas pieces into the mixture, I like to let this sit for about 15 minutes so the flour would corporate into the batter. Preheat pan on medium for about three minutes, for one pancake I use about a half cup of batter. After about a minute and a half its time to put the pancake and little pancake to serving plate. I like to garnish with whipped cream, fresh strawberries. Everyone knows strawberries and bananas go well together and warm real maple syrup.
